Welcome to our online fundraising site benefitting the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres Foundation.

The Batshaw Foundation is a non-profit organization comprised of concerned volunteers. The Foundation’s mission is to help break the cycle of neglect, abuse, and failure experienced by many children aged 0-18 years and their families. The Foundation supports the clients of the Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, living on the island of Montreal, when public funds are not available.

Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, one of the nine institutional members of the Centre Integré Universitaire de Services de Santé et Service Sociaux de l’Ouest de l’Île (CIUSSS), is mandated to deliver services under the Youth Protection Act and the Youth Criminal Justice Act to the English-speaking and Jewish population on the Island of Montreal, and to some English-speaking youth from other regions of Quebec.

Every day, the Batshaw staff meet youth and their families, many of whom are dealing with difficult issues and needs that go beyond the strict definition of ‘Youth Protection’ and ‘Youth Criminal Justice’. These may include financial issues, relationship and emotional problems, and learning problems, to name a few. The Batshaw Centres Foundation exists to address some of these needs through various programs including Emergency Assistance, Therapy and Specialized Services, Scholarships and more.

Donors like you make this possible and we would like to extend a personal thank you to all who support our city's at-risk youth through your support of The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres Foundation
